Conrad Steyn

Deliotte and Touche Sub Sarah Africa Business Transformation Executive. Conrad was the lead Mineral Resource, Energy and Industrial sectors for iOCO and Nextec as part of EOH Group. Conrad was also the MD of iOCO Advisory. Conrad possesses significant executive experience within the global consulting industry initially as a Senior International Partner at Deloitte Consulting and then as a co-founder of the Barnstone Group of Companies. His division, Terratec -a mining and manufacturing services company – joined EOH in 2016.

His management experience has included work with international mining ,manufacturing and resource companies such as BHP Biliton, Glencore, Anglo American, Sasol, Mittal Steel and Mining, Trafigura, AB InBev, JCI Limited and African Minerals where he and his teams provided advisory services and innovative, solution driven implementations across continents and time zones. He is an Advisory Committee Member: Department of Computer Science for the University of Tshwane

Mark has a National Higher Diploma in Analytical Chemistry and 20 years of business experience. He has successfully run startups across multiple industries within Southern Africa and worked for a South African Futures Exchange Brokerage called First Financial Futures, which was later acquired by ABSA Securities.

    He has mining knowledge and experience in supplying to mines such as De Beers, Anglo Platinum, Australia Platinum, Terex Mining (Equestra), AECI Mining. Mark led a team of 50 employees servicing various corporates in the manufacturing and mining industries. He has had multiple business interests including Solar solutions, mobile, consulting and capital raising for clients. He had a Diamond concession in the Northern Cape reprocessing tailings and in 2020 Limpopo 4000 carat per month operation dues to Covid-19 went into business rescue.
